Onboarding Manager

As we develop new properties in new locations, we are looking for professionals capable of being independent, communicative, and forward-thinking to join our team.

With projects moving forward in several locations, there are opportunities in Denver, Chicago, Omaha, and New York.

As the Onboarding Operation Manager, you will:

  • Build and manage strong business relationships with local vendors, installers, and logistics partners to onboard new locations

  • Manage the onboarding maintenance process and delegate work orders to meet contractual deadlines for new units

  • Partner with our Head of Real Estate to understand quality expectations of new inventory, and assist in communicating issues back to landlords or property owners

  • Manage and develop a large onboarding team in the Phoenix, AZ footprint to ensure all new locations meet the brand standard of design and operations

  • Be a master of throughput and quality control for all projects to make sure that key vendors and internal stakeholders are constantly on track to deliver units on time and on budget

  • Partner with the city’s General Manager, Head of Real Estate, and Operations Manager in order to fully understand the scope of each project and specific needs from each team to meet deadlines

  • Assess staffing needs and partner with Operations Manager and Talent team in order to proactively hire

  • Problem solve issues and always aim to improve processes to minimize and prevent exceptions in order to scale rapidly

  • Understand the guest experience and ensure delivery of completed projects with a smooth transition to the operations team

What we look for:

  • 3-7 years of professional experience, including people management

    1. Experience in large-scale project management and/or event coordination

    2. Proven track record of prioritizing numerous tasks in order to meet deadlines

    3. Ability to work well under pressure, juggle and prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines

    4. Very strong organizational skills

    5. Excellent oral and written communication skills

    6. Ability to see big picture and strategize as well as attention to detail and time management

    7. Ability to develop and complete projects without continued direct supervision

    8. Ability to interact with senior management, external client organizations and vendors

    9. A perfectionist, obsessing over all the details

    10. Experience in procurement, logistics, supply chain, or real estate development is a plus

    11. Ability and interest in getting one’s hands dirty when needed - be it in carrying a TV or assembling a sofa, you’re willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done

    12. Knowledge of furniture, fixture and equipment (FF&E), architectural/interior finishes, lighting, art signage, color and materials to carry out design intent is a plus
